Children and grandchildren of Mount Mercy University students, staff, and faculty
got the chance to show off their creative costumes when they gathered for Halloween on the Hill Oct. 30. Pizza, games, and trick or treating in the dorms delighted the children, as well as the adults.

Start Somewhere Walk

More than 50 Mount Mercy University students, staff, and faculty gathered
at the University Center Oct. 7 to help Iowa become the healthiest state
by walking one kilometer (0.62 miles) together as a state. According to
Brenda Steinke, coordinator for recreation and wellness at Mount Mercy,
Gov. Terry Branstad wants to make Iowa the healthiest state by the
